Terms of service

These terms govern every purchase made on this store. Placing an order means you accept them. Read the returns policy alongside this page, because personalised goods carry different rights from ordinary ones.

1. Who you are buying from

Yearstone is a trade name of Alex Rebull Caballero, tax identification number 20576802J, registered at Miquel Massot 27, 08310, Argentona, Barcelona, Spain. You can reach us at irftl2creative@gmail.com.

2. Who can buy

You must be at least 18 and have legal capacity to enter a contract. We sell to consumers, not for resale.

3. Products

Every piece is engraved to order with the names and date you supply. The images on this site show the same model and finish you are buying. Stainless steel and plated finishes vary slightly from batch to batch, and engraving on a curved surface reads differently under different light. These are characteristics of the product, not defects.

There is no preview of your engraving before production. Your order page, which you reach from the "View your order" link in your confirmation email, lists every character you entered. That is the record we work from.

4. What you are responsible for

You supply the text. We engrave it exactly as submitted, including spelling and date format. Open your order page from the confirmation email and check it carefully. See the returns policy for what happens if you spot a mistake.

You also confirm that you are entitled to submit the names you send us, and that your text does not infringe anyone's rights or trade marks. We may refuse and refund any order whose text is unlawful, offensive, or infringing.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros and include all applicable taxes. Shipping is free. The price you see at checkout is the total you pay.

Payment is taken when you order. We accept PayPal, Shop Pay, and major debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and Maestro. If a payment fails or is reversed, the order does not proceed.

If a price is listed wrongly through an obvious error, we will tell you before producing anything and you can confirm the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

6. When the contract is formed

Your order is an offer. The contract exists once we send you the order confirmation email. We may decline an order, and we will refund you in full if we do.

7. Production and delivery

Pieces are made and dispatched from the Netherlands. Your piece is made to order in 2 to 5 business days, then 1 to 7 business days in transit depending on the destination country. Neither window includes the day you order. Full detail is in the shipping policy.

8. Cancellation and returns

Personalised goods are excluded from the 14 day right of withdrawal under Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU. You may cancel free of charge at any point before your piece enters production. Your legal guarantee of conformity under Spanish law is unaffected. The returns policy sets all of this out in full.

9. Our liability

Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it.

10. Intellectual property

The Yearstone name, logo, site text and photography belong to Alex Rebull Caballero and may not be copied without written permission.

11. Governing law

Spanish law governs these terms. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts there.

12. Complaints

Email irftl2creative@gmail.com with your order number and we will answer in writing. If we cannot settle it, you may approach the consumer protection authority of your country of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order.
